Dear Colleagues,
Since our founding, the İzmir National Association of Family Physicians has always supported its colleagues through social activities and training organizations, in addition to our efforts to improve our personal rights. We would like to express our appreciation to all of the association’s boards of directors and members who have contributed to our organization’s success to this point.
The 14th congress of our most valuable training organization, for which we have worked and prepared meticulously throughout the year, will be held between the dates ” 28 April – 1 May 2023″ at the Kormar Ephesus Beach & Spa Resort Izmir.
We hope to bring together the most valuable academicians in the field with you, valuable family physicians, at our 14th Izmir National Association of Family Physicians Congress, to share our clinical experience and contribute to the development of Family Medicine. We will include courses, panels, oral and poster presentations, as well as the most enjoyable social content, in our congress, which will offer rich scientific content. Furthermore, many company representatives will be with us, giving presentations at the stands in the foyer area to keep us up to date on industry developments.

This conference facilitates a shared learning experience focussing on the domains of planetary health, and lifestyle medicine, including healthcare activity at the interfaces between primary care and other parts of the health system.

Dr. Lokotola Christian Lueme, MPH and PhD in Public Health, has strong interest on climate change and health risk. His research area covers Climate change, air pollution and health, sustainable urban health, and climate change, migration and human health.
His approach focuses on the quantification and prediction of the magnitude of health risk and uncertainties of health care resilience to climate change and air pollution. His current research focuses on Planetary health Education and integration of planetary health into primary health care and patient care. He is currently employed as a lecturer and researcher of Planetary Health at Stellenbosch University.
Dr Terry Kemple is a retired GP in Bristol, England. He has had roles in teaching, training, quality improvement, management and research.
He is a member of the WONCA Working Party on the Environment,
has been the lead for the RCGP’s Green Impact for Health Toolkit since 2014, and
an executive member of the UK Health Alliance on Climate Change since 2017.
He is the RCGP national representative for Sustainability, Climate Change and Green Issues, and is a Past President of the Royal College of General Practitioners.

Permission letters to be requested to be given to institutions for participation in the congress will be sent to the participants who request it through the Congress Secretariat.
CANCELLATIONS
50% of registration and accommodation fees are refunded for cancellations made until 10 January 2023. No refunds will be made for cancellations made after this date. All refunds will be made after the end of the congress.

POSTERS
Posters to be presented at the congress should be prepared vertically, with dimensions of 70 x 100 cm.
BADGES

The deadline for abstract submission is April, 17th 2023
Abstracts in English and Turkish should be present. Both abstract must be structured under the headings introduction-aim-methods-results-discussion and conclusion; and be exacly the same and do not exceed 300 words.
Key words: Key words must be appropriate to international standards, may be selected from MeSH (Medical Subject Headings’e (www.nlm.nih.gov/mesh/MBrowser.html) and for Turkish key words, the author(s) may apply to Turkish Scientific expressions (www.bilimterimleri.com). Minimum three maximum five key words are necessary.
